REVIEW: Vanguard ALTA Lens Pouch

In some situations, carrying a kitbag around can be too bulky. So what is the solution?

When I began photographing indoor events and live music, I found that carrying my camera gear around in a backpack was obtrusive and not practical. I then opted for a shoulder bag which, again, didn't quite suit the confines of a photo pit at a concert or weaving my way through a busy conference room. Many photographers find themselves in similar situations, where there is a great need to have quick and easy access to their lenses, and so having your gear conveniently on your person is ideal.
